A commemorative ceremony dedicated to the 690th anniversary of the birth of Amir Temur — a great statesman, military leader, and the founder of our national statehood — was held at Amir Temur Square in the capital.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the ceremony, flowers were laid at the foot of the monument to the great commander. Participants paid tribute to Amir Temur’s rich legacy, recalling with deep respect his system of governance, just policies, and his extensive constructive and creative activities. The figure of Sohibqiron holds a special place in our nation’s history not only as a great military leader, but also as the founder of a strong state and a spiritual leader.

Following the ceremony, the ministry’s delegation visited the State Museum of the Temurids’ History. During the visit, participants familiarized themselves with the museum’s exhibitions and gained comprehensive insights into the rich history of the Timurid era, the development of science and culture, as well as national values and traditions.

It should be noted that such spiritual and educational events play an important role in strengthening historical memory among the younger generation and in fostering a deeper sense of national pride and patriotism.
