The meeting was attended by Ramesh Kumar Nadaradja, Vice President of MIMOS Holding Sdn Bhd; Azima bintu Abdul Kadir, the company's Chief Investment Officer; Ilkhomjon Umrzakov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance; Mirziyod Yunusov, Chairman of the "Uzeltexsanoat" Association; and other officials.
During the dialogue, the parties held a detailed discussion on developing mutual cooperation, expanding existing ties, and implementing promising joint projects.
In particular, the discussions focused on the following priority areas:
- Developing the electronics, electrical engineering, and semiconductor industries in Uzbekistan, introducing advanced technologies in these fields, and expanding the innovation ecosystem;
- Training highly qualified specialists in the electrical engineering and semiconductor sectors, increasing scientific potential, and forming a complete value chain in the industry;
- Introducing integrated approaches and transferring modern knowledge and skills within the framework of improving the personnel training system in the field of electronics and semiconductors;
- Forming a national specialist base by organizing special training programs and sessions on integrated circuit (IC design) design, i.e., microchip design.
In turn, representatives of "MIMOS Holding Sdn Bhd" expressed their interest in expanding cooperation with Uzbekistan in the field of high technologies, paying special attention to the ongoing efforts and created opportunities for the development of the semiconductor industry.
At the end of the negotiations, the parties agreed to develop mutually beneficial cooperation, expand the exchange of views on the issues above, and carry out effective and systematic activities to achieve the set goals.
