A practical seminar is being held on the topic of "Developing Spatial and Master Plans Based on an Economic Development Strategy"

With the support of the UN Development Programme, the Ministry of Economy and Finance launched a practical seminar in the city of Fergana on April 2. This seminar is aimed at improving the skills of employees from the Project Offices of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regional administrations, who are responsible for developing and implementing master plans, as well as specialists from local design organizations.
The seminar is being organized in partnership with Turkey's leading company, Policy Analytics Lab (PAL).
In the first half of the day, presentations were made on the importance of economic analysis in developing spatial and master plans, and on linking social and industrial infrastructure development programs to these plans.
In the afternoon, explanations were provided on the stages of developing spatial and master plans for regional economic development and on the priority areas of regional economic planning.
The practical seminar is ongoing.
