For reference, Andra Larin is an experienced expert in public financial management and audit. Since 2025, she has been serving as a consultant in the project “Improving the certification system of internal audit personnel in the public sector.”
The training sessions were attended by responsible staff of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications, and the Chamber of Auditors of Uzbekistan, as well as internal audit professionals from government bodies and organizations with sufficient knowledge and experience, and professors and lecturers specializing in audit from higher education institutions.
During the sessions, participants were provided with presentations on improving the certification system, organizing and conducting examinations, delivering training programs for certification exam preparation, conducting practical exercises, and ensuring quality.
The training sessions were held in an active format of discussions, debates, and exchanges of views. At the conclusion, participants were awarded certificates for their participation.
It was also planned to engage selected participants as experts in future processes related to preparing internal audit personnel for certification exams and supporting their continuous professional development.
