1. Based on the master plan developed by a German company, the "Shahrisabz" tourism center and agroecotourism complexes covering an area of 500 hectares were commissioned in the Shahrisabz district.
Based on this experience, the Omonkhona and Sangardak tourist centers were established, and practical work began.
In accordance with the master plan, work is underway along the Sangardak River to construct a pedestrian walkway, drinking water and sewerage networks, develop and improve road infrastructure, and build a 1.5 km long cable car.
2. In the mahallas of "Shirmonbuloq" (107 hectares) in Buloqboshi district, "Kampirovot" (92 hectares) in Khanobod city, and "Imom ota" (31 hectares) in Kho'jaobod district, areas with high tourism potential were selected, and the establishment of tourist destinations based on a master plan began.
In particular, 16 billion soums have been allocated from the republican budget, and in accordance with the master plan of the Shirmonbuloq area, work is underway to improve drinking water supply and road infrastructure, install electricity networks and transformers, as well as construct a pedestrian walkway and create "green" zones.
3. Based on the master plan developed for the 258-hectare area around the "Karkidon" reservoir in the Kuva district, construction work is being carried out on 6 km of pedestrian walkways. The plan includes 57 home hotels, 11 cafes and restaurants, a 30-hectare lavender garden, a 30-hectare agro-tourism complex, a 2.5-hectare amusement park and water park with moto and karting zones, a 12-hectare flower garden, and a 48-hectare quiet area.
4. To create conditions for residents to live, relax, and stroll in cities and district centers, infrastructure projects are being developed based on master plans created by a Turkish company. These include: - Residential complexes and the Burhaniddin Marginani Research and Tourism Complex on a 110-hectare area in the cities of Margilan and Fergana; - Facilities on 584 hectares in the center of Kungrad district and 510 hectares in the center of Chimbay district, aimed at creating favorable conditions for people to stroll, relax, and live along the waterfront.
5. Based on the master plan developed by the Turkish company , funds in the amount of 24 billion soums have been allocated from the republican budget, and comfortable conditions are being created for residents and tourists in the "Istiqlol" recreation park in the city of Jizzakh and on the banks of the adjacent Sangzor River.
6. A Malaysian company has developed a master plan for ecotourism along the Syrdarya River, which flows through the Sohilobod area of Guliston district, as well as a "Design Code" for the city of Jizzakh.
7. A Turkish company is developing a master plan based on the economic development strategy for a selected area of 42 hectares in Almazar district.
In the process of developing master plans, a new approach is being introduced. First, a strategy (concept) for the economic development of the region is being developed, and at the next stage, based on this strategy, master plans are being formed that incorporate urban planning and architectural solutions for the area.
8. Based on master plans developed by a company engaged with UNDP support:
- Construction of modern recreation and residential facilities on an area of 103 hectares along the section of the Kashkadarya River flowing through the Chirakchi district;
- In Khazarasp district, along the Polvon Canal, on an area of 14 hectares, 3.1 km of pedestrian walkways and 3.4 km of bicycle paths are being constructed for public recreation, and implementation of entrepreneurial projects is planned.
- Transforming "Nurbulak"in Nurabad district into a resort city, constructing modern infrastructure for residents and tourists along the artificial lake in the district center, as well as in the Mehnatkash and Aksay neighborhoods;
- In Kuvasay city, along the "Sayramsoy" flowing through the center, it is planned to establish coastal areas, recreation facilities, and health resorts on 70 hectares of land.
9. With the technical assistance of the Asian Development Bank, a French company has been engaged to develop master plans for the joint development of Tashkent district with the city of Tashkent and the construction of pedestrian and bicycle paths along the Chirchik River.
10. A British company was engaged to develop, free of charge, a master plan concept aimed at improving the main road passing through the center of Chelak town in Payarik district, as well as creating favorable conditions for the population by transforming it into a vibrant street.
11. A master plan concept is being developed with a Qatari company, aimed at establishing a trade and service complex based on modern approaches in the center of Khazarasp district.
12. According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-245:
- master plans have been developed for the development of district centers (38), tourism (23), and roadside infrastructure (46), and land plots are now being put up for auction based on these master plans.
- A quarterly practical seminar is being organized to improve the skills of employees in the master plan Project Offices of regional administrations;
For information, at the seminar organized in December 2025, industry-specific presentations were made by the French company Groupe Huit and the British company ARUP.

For all regions, spatial strategies are being developed, and as a pilot project, prominent foreign companies are being involved to develop spatial plans for 33 districts (cities) with the status of New Uzbekistan.
