The prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkiye in the healthcare sector were discussed

During the dialogue, issues related to the consistent development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkiye in the field of healthcare were considered. The parties exchanged views on sharing experience in medicine, studying modern approaches, and supporting ongoing reforms in the sector.
The meeting also included discussions on improving the efficiency of medical services provided in the regions, enhancing the activities of medical institutions, and the gradual introduction of advanced practices into management processes. In particular, approaches to further developing the activities of multidisciplinary hospitals in the Fergana region and the city of Tashkent were among the topics discussed.
In addition, the parties addressed issues related to the gradual development of medical tourism potential in Uzbekistan. Specifically, prospects for expanding cooperation in effectively utilizing existing opportunities in Tashkent city, Surkhandarya, Samarkand, Fergana, and Khorezm regions, improving service quality and infrastructure, and studying international experience were reviewed.
The sides emphasized the importance of enriching practical cooperation in the healthcare sector, strengthening dialogue between industry specialists, and consistently improving the quality of medical services provided to the population.
