During the meeting, discussions were held on the systemic reforms implemented in recent years in the fields of accounting and auditing, a new stage in the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), as well as further development of the auditing sector based on international best practices.

The parties emphasized the importance of measures being implemented to ensure transparency in auditing and financial reporting, strengthen investor confidence, and establish a system that meets international standards. Representatives of the auditing company "Ernst & Young" acknowledged the extensive reforms being carried out in this field in our country. Notably, it was highlighted that the tasks defined in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-282 dated September 15, 2025, and the work being conducted within the framework of their implementation clearly demonstrate the high level of attention given to the development of this sector.

Additionally, views were exchanged on issues related to ensuring quality control of audit organizations' work and the provision of audit services. It was noted that addressing these matters serves to ensure independence and objectivity in auditing activities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue ongoing and effective cooperation in further improving accounting and auditing, expanding international collaboration, and introducing modern approaches to the field.
