It was noted that taking into account macroeconomic stability, demographic processes, and labor market characteristics is of great importance in further improving the country's healthcare system. In this regard, attention was paid to the issues of harmonizing economic and social factors in the introduction of the medical insurance system.

Touching upon healthcare financing issues, World Bank representatives noted the importance of the effective use of existing resources, expanding financial protection mechanisms for the population, and increasing access to medical services. Additionally, issues regarding forming a balanced structure of expenses in the healthcare sector and consistently strengthening state participation were discussed.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that the main tasks of health insurance are to expand the population's access to medical services and ensure financial sustainability. At the same time, the importance of determining financing approaches, coverage scope, and service packages, as well as developing transparent payment and information systems, was noted for the formation of an effective medical insurance system.

In conclusion, the World Bank side expressed readiness to closely familiarize themselves with the Uzbekistan government's vision for developing the healthcare financing system, as well as to provide analytical and technical assistance in the process of forming the state medical insurance system.
