DOMiNO Ventures to invest $50 million in startup development in Uzbekistan

The venture company "DOMiNO Ventures" is one of the most active participants in the venture capital market in the region. The fund operates in countries such as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, as well as in Europe and Turkey. Over the past five years, the region has seen rapid growth: the number of startups has increased by 4.5 times (more than 4,500), and the total volume of venture deals has reached $120 million in 2024.
At the meeting, representatives of the fund presented current initiatives and plans to develop the regional startup environment. Particular attention was paid to the BetterFuture AI Acceleration program, which is aimed at supporting startups in the field of artificial intelligence.
The following successful examples of Uzbek startups invested in by the fund were also presented:
“Tass Vision” - a video analysis system based on artificial intelligence;
"PointAi" - a solution to support e-commerce;
"Datatruck" - a platform for optimizing logistics in freight transportation.
Of particular interest was the company's plans to invest $50 million in the region over the next 5 years, as well as financing more than 20 startups worth around $100 million.
At the meeting, it was agreed to implement joint programs in cooperation with the venture company "DOMiNO Ventures" and the national venture fund "UzVC".
They also exchanged views on sharing professional knowledge and experience in implementing the assigned tasks, and agreed to work together to develop the startup ecosystem.
