A seminar-training session on “Preventing Corruption Risks and Eliminating Conflicts of Interest” was organized

The seminar-training featured presentations by Muhammad Abdurazzoqov, Lead Specialist of the Department for Combating Corruption and Compliance Control of the Ministry of Economy and Finance; Dilfuza Uraqova, Chief Specialist of the Public Procurement Policy Department; and Sanjar Boltayev, Senior Lecturer of the Training Center.
Presentations covered the essence and content of the Laws “On Combating Corruption” and “On Conflict of Interest”, as well as the topics “National and International Experience in Public Procurement, Current Challenges” and “Preventing and Eliminating Corruption in Public Procurement.”
The seminar-training was attended by employees of the central office of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and staff of subordinate organizations who perform functions considered vulnerable to corruption risks.
During the seminar, participants received detailed explanations on the work carried out in recent years in the fields of combating corruption and managing conflicts of interest, restrictions aimed at preventing conflicts of interest in the activities of civil servants, and measures to prevent corruption and conflicts of interest in public procurement.
In addition, a video clip prepared on the negative consequences of corruption and conflicts of interest was shown.
The seminar-training was conducted in a question-and-answer format, and participants received comprehensive responses to the questions of interest to them.
