Within the “Yashil Makon” initiative, employees of the central office, regional departments, divisions and affiliated organizations of the Ministry of Economy and Finance planted trees along in the Ohangaron district of Tashkent region.
The purpose of the event is to improve the ecological condition of the area, expand green zones that help reduce dust and heat, and enhance climate resilience. The planted trees will positively affect air quality, the local microclimate and soil fertility in the future.
The direct participation of employees in this initiative contributes to strengthening environmental culture, developing open dialogue and cooperation with the public, and encouraging responsible attitudes toward the environment among the population.
This activity also plays an important role in achieving the strategic goals of enhancing environmental sustainability, expanding green areas, and improving the quality of life in the country.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan will continue these efforts consistently in the coming years within the framework of the country’s environmental policy and the “Yashil Makon” initiative.
