The importance of sustainability and digitalisation is rapidly increasing across the world as economies, businesses, and societies strive to adapt to global challenges and opportunities. Uzbekistan is actively pursuing progress in these fields, recognising their essential role in achieving long-term economic resilience and inclusive growth.
The Erasmus Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Business and Finance (ECESBF) at the Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE) was initiated as part of the Jean Monnet Project under the Erasmus+ Programme, co-funded by the European Union.
ECESBF based on the benchmarking experience of the European Union in sustainability and digital transformation develops and promotes innovative approaches to teaching and research in these areas.
We highly appreciate the mission of ECESBF to engage in dialogue with local stakeholders to adapt best European practices to the Uzbek context and disseminate knowledge to the broader society, contributing to the country’s sustainable and digital future.
In particular, we extensively utilize the Digital Transformation Scoreboard and Digital Documentation Database for both research and practical purposes. We especially note the created database simplifies the search for relevant documents. This online Database provides a single point of search of the EU and local sources covering the issues of digitalisation and digital transformation in business and finance.
Methodology applied in Digital Transformation Scoreboard is adjusted towards the requirements and standards set in the “Digital Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy”. The policy focuses equally on the development of new technologies and on the deployment and use in industry of existing technologies.
In light of this, we are publishing the links to the Digitalization Package at ECESBF website where you can find Digital Transformation Scoreboard and Digitalization Documentation Database:
