The UzGeeks Community, one of Uzbekistan’s most active IT communities, held its latest meetup. The event focused on the effective use of artificial intelligence and explored the role and prospects of this technology in society.

Specialists working in various fields shared their perspectives and experiences on artificial intelligence. The speakers addressed topics including AI development in Uzbekistan, programming practices, training algorithms, and societal perceptions of artificial intelligence from concerns to optimistic views.

UzGeeks Community is an open network that unites programmers and IT specialists from across Uzbekistan. Its primary mission is to share knowledge and experience in IT with the wider public, explore new technologies, demonstrate the practical application of theoretical knowledge, and contribute to the creation of high-quality Uzbek IT resources.

For the past ten years, the community has organized regular monthly meetups, which are open to the public and free of charge. Anyone can participate either as a speaker or as an attendee. The events are also streamed online through social media platforms, enabling broader outreach.

Over the past two years, the UzGeeks Community, in cooperation with the Center for the Development of Digital Education, has organized around 16 meetups, attracting a total audience of approximately 10,000 participants.

As the most recent session was also dedicated to artificial intelligence, it drew a diverse audience from IT industry representatives to students, young programmers, and interested members of the public. In their presentations, speakers discussed not only technical aspects but also the potential of AI technologies in education, the economy, and everyday life.
