Uzbekistan Hosts AI Development Seminar in Cooperation with NVIDIA

As part of the "Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence Technologies until 2030," approved by Presidential Resolution on October 14, 2024, Uzbekistan is prioritizing AI-driven projects, the establishment of technical infrastructure, and the integration of artificial intelligence into the economy and social sectors.
To advance these goals, a seminar on artificial intelligence was held at Inha University in Tashkent, organized by the Ministry of Digital Technologies in collaboration with NVIDIA, one of the world's leading technology companies.
The seminar aimed to provide participants with in-depth insights into the application of AI in business, AI-based solutions, and their impact on economic growth. It also served as a platform for knowledge exchange and discussions on emerging opportunities in artificial intelligence.
Oleg Pekos, First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies, delivered a speech emphasizing the strategic importance of AI development and its integration into Uzbekistan’s economy. He highlighted that collaboration with NVIDIA marks a significant step toward leveraging AI technologies across various sectors, engaging industry experts, and training young specialists.
Anton Jorayev, Business Development Director for the CIS region at NVIDIA, presented an overview of NVIDIA’s advanced AI-powered technologies, analytical systems, and their applications in business processes. He also provided practical examples of AI-driven solutions in different industries and introduced new AI programs and projects currently in development at NVIDIA.
The seminar was designed to support the growth of Uzbekistan’s digital economy, enhance the implementation of AI solutions in business and the public sector, and equip young professionals and industry experts with cutting-edge AI knowledge.
Participants gained valuable insights into the latest AI technologies, their real-world applications, and practical implementation strategies across various industries.
