Development of international cooperation in the field of IT education

A delegation from the Ministry of Digital Technologies, led by the Deputy Minister, conducted a business visit to the United States to enhance bilateral collaboration in IT education and explore new partnership opportunities.
During the visit, meetings were held with executives of major technology companies, representatives of leading educational institutions, the startup ecosystem, and Uzbek diaspora members in San Francisco, USA, including:

"Apple" Company
Asia Foundation Fund
Silk Road Innovation Hub
Key topics of discussion included:
Implementation of joint digital education projects;
Enhancement of civil servants’ digital competencies;
Support for local startups and their expansion into international markets;
Development of a national artificial intelligence strategy and AI training programs for women;
Collaboration with foreign educational institutions to strengthen IT training centers;
Creation of digital educational content to prepare young professionals in remote and underserved areas for modern careers.
At the conclusion of the meetings, Rustam Karimjonov presented the favorable conditions and opportunities available in Uzbekistan’s IT sector and extended an official invitation to participate in ICT Week "ICTWeek-2025".
