The "ICT Expo Uzbekistan" exhibition is a global event designed to showcase both domestic and international advancements and accomplishments in the realm of information and communication technologies.
Rustam Karimjonov, Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies, inaugurated the event. Following initial introductions and speeches by delegates from foreign organizations, the proceedings continued with formal announcements and presentations.
The presentations covered a range of topics, such as the incorporation of "Mukhlisa" artificial intelligence, the updated my.gov.uz website, the potential and future outlook of the MyID ecosystem, the student card initiative by Aloqa Bank, the Face ID payment system, the unveiling of "Uzbektelecom IPO," Aloqabank's "Digital Services Platform," Huawei's (China) corporate social responsibility presentation, “focusing on IT education”, and a presentation from the manager of Plug and Play (USA) about the new ecosystem for fostering startup development in Uzbekistan.
Furthermore, as part of the exhibition, a special category winner of the "President Tech Award" hackathon was honored.
Based on assessments by the judging panel and the project's technical execution during the hackathon, the Rammstein Theorem team, composed of young individuals including Maftuna Ziyamova, David Alkamyan, Yasmina Ablayeva, and Azam Behruz, emerged as the champions.
To support the development and implementation of the project created during the hackathon, the victorious team was granted $100,000.
