112 Export-Oriented Companies Became IT Park Members, Including 59 with Foreign Investment

Uzbekistan continues to solidify its position in the global market as an IT hub. This is evidenced by the growing interest in the country's IT sector from foreign companies and the dynamic expansion of exports by local firms offering products and services abroad.
Between October and November 2024, 112 export-oriented companies were granted IT Park member status, including 59 with foreign capital from countries such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the UAE, Japan, China, Turkey, Switzerland, Malaysia, Portugal, the Netherlands, and Poland.
Among these 112 export-oriented members, 48 specialize in outsourcing services, 41 provide IT services (custom software development, technical support, upgrades, and modifications), 19 develop IT products, and 4 operate in the creative industries and Game Development sectors.
These 112 companies plan to create over 2,500 new jobs within their first year of operation, including opportunities in regional areas.
The growing interest in Uzbekistan's IT sector from European and Asian countries, particularly Japan, China, Korea, Portugal, Hungary, Switzerland, and Malaysia, is noteworthy. Increasingly, companies from these regions are entering the market to invest in the IT sector and outsource key business processes. This not only enhances the country's export potential but also creates employment opportunities for local professionals.
For instance, KARAM, a Portuguese-Hungarian company, has already employed Uzbek specialists and is planning further expansion. The company offers services in financial planning and investment project development for international markets.
Malaysian-based BEUKITCH EV specializes in custom software development and will primarily provide outsourcing services to clients in the United States and Malaysia.
Swiss company INVERSON OPERATIONS, which focuses on IT consulting and information security audits, has established an office in Uzbekistan. The company aims to deliver outsourcing services to the U.S. and Swiss markets while actively hiring local specialists with English proficiency.
GET-ACADEMY, another Malaysian company, has begun operations in Uzbekistan, offering outsourcing services in customer support, data processing, and personnel management, including technical support and payroll services.
Canadian company UNLOCKWARE IT SERVICES, focused on custom software development, has also opened an office in Uzbekistan. Its services will be exported to Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Canada, and the United States.
Japanese firm FUJIYAMA LOGISTICS has started recruiting local specialists proficient in Japanese to support its “Inventory Management System” software, designed for supply chain tracking.
According to the submitted business plans, the total projected export volume exceeds $70 million in the first year. Target export markets include the United States, Canada, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Singapore, China, South Korea, and others.
This progress contributes to improving the population's welfare and advancing the professional skills of local specialists, enhancing their competitiveness in the global market.
