Prospects for Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence Discussed with TBC Group

Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov convened a meeting with Oliver Hughes, Head of International Operations of TBC Group, Nika Kurdiani and Khikoyat Mullajanova, representatives of TBC Group, to discuss the progress of Uzbekistan's digital economy, integration of digital services, application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and cutting-edge technological solutions.
Particular emphasis was placed on the expansion of digital banking services across Uzbekistan. The parties explored the potential for strengthening advanced technologies and expertise to establish secure, user-centric, and AI-driven financial services.
Discussions further explored the strategic use of AI for analyzing customer needs and preferences, forecasting risks, and enhancing the efficiency of financial services delivery.
In addition, the discussions reviewed forward-looking initiatives for the adoption of cloud technologies. These initiatives include the development of cloud-based solutions to ensure the secure storage and optimal use of data by government agencies and enterprises.
The dialogue highlighted the transformative role of AI in various sectors, particularly in automating financial processes, refining customer service systems, and strengthening security measures.
The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to deepen bilateral cooperation and pursue shared objectives.
