Oxford Graduate Appointed to Lead IT Education Development at Acharya University

Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies, Rustam Karimjonov, visited Acharya University in the Karakol district during an official trip to the Bukhara region to explore strategies for enhancing the university’s potential and its transformation into a leading IT education hub.
During the visit, Laziz Khojakulov, the newly appointed executive director of the university, was formally introduced to the faculty and staff.
Laziz Khojakulov holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of Manchester and a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Oxford, UK, bringing a wealth of academic expertise to his new role.
At the conclusion of the visit, key initiatives were outlined to strengthen the university’s academic and research capabilities and to broaden opportunities for youth engagement in IT education.
