The Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, held a meeting with Eric Grimson, Vice President of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.
The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in digital technologies and IT education, with a focus on enhancing educational programs by utilizing MIT’s expertise.
Both parties explored opportunities to advance digital education by developing academic programs aligned with international standards. They also discussed potential joint initiatives to support startups and innovative ideas, as well as collaborative projects aimed at developing and applying emerging technologies.
The conversation further emphasized the importance of MIT’s expertise in cybersecurity to strengthen Uzbekistan’s digital transformation efforts.
