Minister Shermatov Visits New IT Export Company and Incubation Center at Karshi State University

Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov visited the newly established company "US HIGH QUALITY INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS SERVICE" LLC at Karshi State University, as well as the university's Incubation Center, where he reviewed innovative startup projects developed by students.
"US HIGH QUALITY INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS SERVICE" LLC offers outsourcing services to logistics companies in the Russian Federation. The company has already created 20 new jobs, with plans to create over 100 additional positions in the near future. This initiative was recognized as a significant step towards integrating higher education with industry, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical application.
During his review of the company’s operations, Minister Shermatov emphasized the crucial importance of connecting higher education institutions with practical experience, noting that this integration enables students to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world production environments. He also highlighted the company’s dual contribution, not only as a scientific platform but also as a key player in creating new jobs for youth in the region.
The university's Incubation Center serves as an essential hub for helping young talent develop innovative ideas and implement technological solutions. During his visit, Minister Shermatov was introduced to several socially impactful student-led startup projects. In particular, the "Smart Cane" project, designed for the disabled and blind, received special recognition. The project aims to facilitate independent movement and increase safety for the blind and physically disabled.
The "Smart Cane" is equipped with advanced sensors that detect obstacles, assess the environment, and guide users with sound signals, greatly improving the daily lives and safety of people with disabilities.
Minister Shermatov praised the "Smart Cane" initiative, underscoring its importance in offering practical assistance to individuals with disabilities. He also provided recommendations for further technological improvements and encouraged the project’s presentation to a broader audience.
In his concluding remarks, the Minister stressed the need to support innovative projects and expand opportunities for young startupers. He emphasized the state's commitment to training young people in the IT sector and promoting the development of new technologies. Minister Shermatov also noted the importance of motivating young startupers to pursue and implement their ideas, adding that the next phase will focus on bringing their practical projects to life.
