Uzbekistan and Korea Advance Cooperation on Digital Government Development

The Uzbek side was represented by First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies Ayubkhon Sultanov, Deputy Minister Jamol Maksudov, as well as senior officials and specialists of the ministry.
The discussions focused on the progress of the “Establishment of an Integrated Data Center for Electronic Government” project, including the implementation work completed to date, ongoing activities, and the next steps required to ensure the project's timely and effective completion. The participants also reviewed mechanisms to further strengthen cooperation within the framework of the initiative and ensure the consistent implementation of its subsequent phases.
Particular attention was given to expanding bilateral cooperation in the development of digital government, introducing advanced digital solutions into public administration, and maintaining close collaboration in this strategic area. The parties also exchanged views on priority areas for future cooperation.
The participants noted that the successful implementation of the ongoing joint projects will further reinforce mutual trust and the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea. The parties reaffirmed their commitment to continuing close and mutually beneficial cooperation in the years ahead.
