Today, July 24, the forum's opening ceremony took place. Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov took part in the event, noting that the broad-based reforms carried out in Uzbekistan in recent years have created a modern and competitive ecosystem for the development of the information technology sector.
"Today we offer international companies not only favorable conditions for doing business, but also access to highly qualified personnel, modern digital infrastructure, and a rapidly growing regional market. If you open an IT company in Uzbekistan, you will receive full support from both the government and IT Park. You will not pay taxes, and your employees will also benefit from preferential, reduced tax rates. These benefits will remain in effect until 2040. We are also launching the Enterprise Uzbekistan initiative in this same direction, which will provide the most favorable legal conditions for further developing your business in Uzbekistan," said Sh. Shermatov.
The Minister noted that Uzbekistan's greatest advantage is its young and talented human capital, and pointed out that international recognition of these reforms is steadily growing — in particular, Uzbekistan was recognized as "Country of the Year 2026" for having the fastest-growing startup ecosystem.
IT Park Uzbekistan Director General Azamat Karamatov noted that the forum reflects the country's growing international standing in the technology ecosystem. He added that IT Park is creating opportunities for foreign companies not only to conduct business, but also to draw on the region's skilled talent pool and become part of Uzbekistan's innovation ecosystem.
Today, the IT Park Uzbekistan ecosystem brings together more than 3,800 resident companies, over 1,000 of which are international companies. Technology services exports have exceeded $1 billion.
The forum also continued with discussions on current trends in global business services. Sessions addressed the expansion of service operations, talent development, business process transformation, and the integration of artificial intelligence into global service centers. In addition, participants presented the Enterprise Uzbekistan initiative, international experience in developing the global business services ecosystem, and practical insights from Global Expertise, Antal International, Staff Atlantic, and Sonect (Teleperformance).
One of the forum's central sessions was the panel discussion "Beyond Cost: How AI Is Redefining Global Business Services." Representatives from CXAP, iSon, Newo.ai, and Emapta shared their views on the impact of artificial intelligence on the global business services model, its role in improving business efficiency, enhancing service quality, and creating new value.
A number of memorandums aimed at developing Uzbekistan's global business services ecosystem and expanding international cooperation were also signed. In particular, IT Park Uzbekistan and Sonect (Teleperformance) signed a memorandum on developing cooperation in IT outsourcing and BPO, implementing joint projects, and exchanging experience.
