Uzbekistan and Poland's Asseco International Discuss Cooperation in Digital Transformation and IT Projects

The discussions focused on collaboration in e-government, financial technologies, artificial intelligence, data centers, and the implementation of major public and corporate digital transformation initiatives.
The Polish delegation was briefed on Uzbekistan's ongoing digital economy reforms, the steady growth of IT service exports, the favorable business environment created for IT Park Uzbekistan residents, support mechanisms for international technology companies, and major investment projects aimed at expanding the country's digital infrastructure.
The Uzbek side also presented national initiatives to accelerate artificial intelligence development, including incentive packages for data center and AI projects in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the establishment of AI laboratories under the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, and programs for developing a highly qualified digital workforce.
The parties exchanged views on the potential implementation of Asseco International's digital solutions in Uzbekistan across public administration, banking and finance, healthcare, and other sectors. They also discussed opportunities for joint projects, professional training for local specialists, and knowledge exchange.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue their dialogue on expanding practical cooperation, exploring opportunities for Asseco International to establish operations in Uzbekistan, and implementing mutually beneficial projects in priority areas.
During the visit, the Polish delegation also toured UZINFOCOM, where they were introduced to the organization's activities and key projects in digital government infrastructure, government information systems, data centers, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
