International Artificial Intelligence Training Program Launched in Uzbekistan

The opening ceremony was attended by Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and David Hoffman, Director for Central Asia at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI).
The event highlighted Uzbekistan's ongoing efforts to advance artificial intelligence, prepare qualified specialists for the digital economy, integrate modern technologies into the education system, and further develop the country's human capital.
The first day of the program focused on the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, its role in education, the principles of large language models, human-AI interaction, and prompt engineering. Participants also took part in practical sessions covering the application of AI tools in developing educational materials, organizing learning processes, and analyzing educational outcomes.
Addressing the participants, David Hoffman emphasized the critical role of human capital in digital transformation, the importance of introducing innovative approaches in education, and international best practices in the application of artificial intelligence. He also highlighted the opportunities created through the effective use of AI technologies in public administration and education.
The second day of the program will focus on the practical and responsible application of artificial intelligence. Participants will explore AI integration into educational processes, context management, advanced prompt engineering techniques, and approaches to identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks associated with AI technologies.
Upon completion of the program, participants will have enhanced their practical knowledge of artificial intelligence, exchanged international experience, and acquired new skills to effectively integrate AI tools into their professional activities.
