Special Training Program on Children’s Information Security Conducted for Media Representatives

More than 100 representatives of media organizations and digital media platforms from various regions of the country participated in the three-day program.
The training focused on protecting children from harmful content in the digital environment, strengthening media responsibility, applying age-based classification and labeling requirements for information products, as well as addressing issues related to cybersecurity and media ethics.
At the opening sessions, experts presented recommendations on mitigating modern digital threats affecting children, including cyberbullying, illegal content, manipulative information, deepfake technologies, and risks associated with artificial intelligence.
Participants also discussed the importance of strengthening cooperation among government institutions, media organizations, journalists, bloggers, educational institutions, and parents to ensure a safer digital environment for children.
In addition, the results of monitoring activities conducted within the national information space were presented, with particular attention given to ensuring that information products are prepared and distributed in compliance with applicable legislation.
The training program served as a platform for exchanging knowledge and best practices on safeguarding children’s rights and security in the digital environment while promoting responsible content creation and dissemination.
At the conclusion of the program, participants were awarded certificates.
