IT Town Opens in Jizzakh Region

The new educational center is designed to provide training for up to 400 young people annually. As part of the initiative, students from grades 5 to 11 will be able to study digital technologies and foreign languages free of charge.
The “IT Town” offers training in the following areas:
- Computer Literacy;
- Programming;
- Esports;
- Robotics;
- Graphic Design;
- Artificial Intelligence;
- English Language;
- Korean Language.
In addition, the center features a modern library, a chess club and coworking spaces designed to support learning, collaboration and innovation.
The facility is located in Mustaqillik Mahalla, Zamin District, Jizzakh Region.
To date, more than 2,000 young people have been receiving training in modern information technologies and foreign languages through IT Town centers operating across the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the regions of Syrdarya, Samarkand, Fergana, Bukhara, Tashkent, Navoi and Kashkadarya.
The expansion of the IT Town network is aimed at increasing access to quality digital education and equipping young people with skills in demand in the modern economy.
Young people interested in studying at an IT Town in their region can submit an application through the designated registration platform.
