The Ministry of Mining and Geology was recognized as the most exemplary ministry in resource management.
The President emphasized that the ministry has become a vivid example of responsible, transparent and efficient management. It was noted that every allocated soum has been directed toward the discovery of new deposits and the development of the industry. Water consumption in geological exploration activities has been reduced by 20 percent, budget plans have been developed through 2028, and the localization rate of major mining equipment has reached 84 percent.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs was recognized as the most exemplary ministry for achieving positive results in the provision of public services.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that the ministry currently provides around 60 types of services, 95 percent of which are fully digitalized. He highlighted that 72 previously fragmented databases had been integrated into a unified “Safe City” system connecting 14 control centers and more than 20 ministries and agencies.
According to the President, more than 148,000 administrative cases were processed remotely last year, eliminating unnecessary bureaucratic procedures and preventing citizens from having to visit multiple offices. He is stressed that the ministry is demonstrating in practice that modern public services should be measured by the convenience created for citizens.
