International Forum “M360 Eurasia 2026” Opens in Samarkand

The forum is being organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Beeline Uzbekistan and VEON.
The two-day event has gathered international experts, investors, telecommunications operators, technology companies and representatives of government institutions to discuss current issues related to artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, telecommunications, innovative technologies, the digital economy and investment cooperation.
Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov participated in the opening ceremony and addressed forum participants.
In his remarks, the Minister emphasized that, as a result of the far-sighted and strategic policies implemented under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the IT and digital technologies sector has become one of the country’s fastest-growing industries.
It was noted that Uzbekistan is consistently advancing digital transformation reforms, while also strengthening its position as a venue for major international technology forums and events.
Particular attention was given to ongoing efforts aimed at transforming Uzbekistan into a global IT hub, enhancing competition in the telecommunications market, expanding e-government services and increasing youth potential in the field of artificial intelligence.
The Minister additionally underlined that expanding international cooperation and creating favorable conditions for foreign investors remain among the country’s strategic priorities.
Throughout the forum, participants are expected to engage in panel discussions, practical sessions, B2B meetings and strategic dialogues with leading companies and experts from the global digital industry.
For reference, the first “M360 Eurasia” forum was held in Tashkent in 2025 and brought together more than 1,000 specialists and experts from 60 countries. Hosting this year’s event in Samarkand is expected to further strengthen Uzbekistan’s position as an international digital and innovation hub.
