The annual international "UN PUBLIC SERVICE FORUM" 2025 will be held in Samarkand.

On 24-26 June this year the UN PUBLIC SERVICE FORUM 2024 was held in South Korea. The delegation of Uzbekistan led by the Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, representatives of the Ministry of Justice, the Agency for Strategic Reforms under the President and the Agency for Development of Public Service participated in the event.
The key event of the forum was the announcement that the next international forum will be held in Samarkand in 2025. This was announced by the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations and Head of UNDESA, Li Jinhua.
At the closing ceremony, Minister Shermatov delivered a speech in which he assured that the event in Samarkand will be organized at the highest level and invited the participants to visit the city. He also expressed his gratitude for the confidence in holding the Forum in Uzbekistan.
