Digital Cooperation Talks Between Uzbekistan and Eurasian Development Bank

Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov met with Eurasian Development Bank Deputy Board Chairman Tigran Sargsyan to explore avenues for deeper digital collaboration.
The discussions centered on speeding up digital transformation efforts and advancing digital initiatives across both public and private sectors. Both sides recognized Uzbekistan's strategic role as a key partner in driving regional digital progress, exchanging insights on successful projects from various countries and identifying priority digital investments for Uzbekistan.
The talks also covered the potential for cross-border digital services, the development of robust digital infrastructure, and the enhancement of existing technological solutions.
Further on the agenda were collaborative opportunities in smart city technologies — including intelligent traffic management — alongside digital service platforms, e-commerce, logistics, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and space technologies.
