From April 8 to 10, the capital will host the “Training of Entrepreneurs” program organized as part of the Women ICT Frontier Initiative (WIFI DX). The initiative focuses on strengthening the digital capabilities of women entrepreneurs and supporting their participation in the digital economy.
The program is organized in cooperation with the Asian and Pacific Training Centre for Information and Communication Technology for Development under the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, Women in Tech Uzbekistan, and the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan.
The initiative is designed to train qualified instructors who will later contribute to developing digital skills across society. Through a multiplier approach, the program aims to expand knowledge transfer and support long-term capacity building in digital entrepreneurship.
As Uzbekistan continues to advance its digital transformation agenda, initiatives such as WIFI DX represent an important investment in translating national digital strategies into practical outcomes for citizens.
Professionals and organizations engaged in digital skills development, women’s economic empowerment, and ICT capacity building are encouraged to follow the program. Since the training will be conducted entirely in English, proficiency in the language is one of the key admission requirements.
