Expanding Women’s Participation in the IT Sector Discussed in Navoi Region

A meeting was held at the Navoi regional administration with the participation of Deputy Governor Malika Mamadiyarova and the Advisor to the Minister of Digital Technologies, Kamola Sobirova. The parties discussed strengthening cooperation to increase women’s active engagement in the IT sector, support their initiatives, and promote the development and implementation of innovative projects.
During the discussions, specific measures and priority tasks were identified to enhance digital literacy among women in the region, expand access to training in modern IT specialties, and ensure sustainable employment opportunities in the future.
As part of the visit, women working on startup initiatives in the field of information technologies presented their projects.
In the course of an open dialogue, practical recommendations were provided on refining project concepts, securing financing for promising initiatives, and facilitating their effective implementation.
