National Training on Digital Government Held in Tashkent

The purpose of the training was to provide detailed information on the role of digital technologies in improving the quality of public administration, effective implementation of digital government policies, and key principles in this direction.
The training also covered general areas considered to be the basis of a long-term strategy for digital government initiatives, including digital infrastructure, digital services, capacity building, and regulatory policy.
During the three-day training, sessions were organized on topics such as "Digital Technologies in Everyday Life and Management", "Digital Government Strategies", "Inclusive Digital Development - Digital Society", "Inclusive Digital Development - Digital Economy", and "Digital Policy, Emerging Trends and, the Way Forward". These sessions discussed the increasing number of digital technologies in our public and private sectors and their impact on management, the reasons for the failure of digital government projects, and management principles related to sustainable development goals.
The discussion also focused on the components of digital government strategies, plans, and related processes, as well as regulatory and legal documents necessary for effective digital transformation and the expansion of the legal framework for digital government.
Issues related to e-procurement, e-sales and e-information exchange were also highlighted in the digital policy.
During the training, participants received necessary information about the role of digital technologies in the public and private sectors and how the implementation of these technologies can impact management, learning to use design thinking in the provision of public services, as well as the tools and methods to encourage citizens and civil servants to cooperate and participate in the design of digital government services.
In turn, the training offered a comprehensive understanding on the components of digital government strategies, plans and related processes, the expansion of regulatory and legal documents as well as regulatory frameworks necessary for the effective transformation of digital government, various stages of digital government projects, and the study of emerging trends in the implementation of the digital government program.
In addition, the opportunities of artificial intelligence technologies and the challenges associated with artificial intelligence, as well as the necessity and importance of data management and digital identification systems in the context of digital government, were discussed.
At the end of the training, participants received certificates.
