The 2026 Season of the “Five Initiative Olympics and Paralympics” Has Been Officially Launched

The 2026 season of the “Five Initiative Olympics and Paralympics,” organized for the fifth consecutive year among youth, was officially launched today at the “Team Sports” complex located in the Olympic Village in Tashkent.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Sports Odil Abdurakhmonov; Advisor to the President and Director of the National Agency for Social Protection Mansur Olloyorov; Minister of Sports Adham Ikramov; Minister of Preschool and School Education E’zozkhon Karimova; Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov; Deputy Chairman of the State Security Service Jahongir Jo‘rayev; Chairman of the Mahalla Association of Uzbekistan Kahramon Kuronboyev; Director of the Youth Affairs Agency Alisher Sa’dullayev; First Deputy Chairman of the National Olympic Committee Otabek Umarov; and Chairman of the National Paralympic Committee Mukhtorkhon Tashkhodjayev.
Representatives of seven mahallas participated in the event through regional studios. The ceremony was also attended by winners and prize holders of previous seasons of the “Five Initiative Olympics,” students of higher education institutions, senior secondary school students, distinguished athletes, cultural figures, and representatives of partner ministries and agencies.
The launch of the new season marks the continuation of large-scale initiatives aimed at promoting mass sports, strengthening youth engagement, and fostering a healthy and active lifestyle across the country.
