IOI–2026 Committee Members Review Preparations in Tashkent

During the visit, committee representatives inspected the facilities of the Central Asian Expo Uzbekistan International Exhibition Center, the official venue of the Olympiad. In addition, they reviewed 12 hotels and a congress hall located in the New Uzbekistan district, designated for accommodating participants, and discussed key aspects of the technical and organizational infrastructure.
The delegation also visited the Ministry of Digital Technologies, where they were presented with a comprehensive report outlining the progress achieved in preparation for IOI–2026.
Discussions further covered Uzbekistan’s advancements in the digital sector, including the development of infrastructure and the favorable conditions created for international IT companies operating in the country.
