Uzbekistan Advances by 9 Positions in the Network Readiness Index 2025

According to the Network Readiness Index 2025, published annually by the Portland Institute (USA), Uzbekistan has improved its standing by nine positions, ranking 72nd overall.
This progress reflects the consistent and sustainable implementation of digital transformation reforms, as well as tangible achievements in the adoption of information and communication technologies across the country.
Global leaders in the 2025 ranking include the United States, Finland, Singapore, Denmark, and Sweden.
Uzbekistan’s performance demonstrates a steady upward trend: the country ranked 81st in 2024 and advanced to 72nd in 2025.
The improved position indicates ongoing progress in the following areas:
- Development of digital infrastructure;
- Expansion of e-government services;
- Enhancement of digital skills among citizens and businesses;
- Increased effectiveness of reforms in the IT sector.
