Press Conference and Media Tour on the Activities of the Committee on Innovative Development and Information Technologies in 2025

The event was attended by deputies of the Legislative Chamber, representatives of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, members of the Youth Parliament, and representatives of national and regional media.
During the open dialogue session, the Chairman of the Committee, I. Abdullayev, and committee members provided information on the results of the committee’s work in 2025, legislative initiatives, and planned measures in the areas of digital economy development, information technology implementation, and support for innovative initiatives.
Journalists were provided with answers to questions regarding the introduction of artificial intelligence in public administration, the development of digital public services, information security, and measures to attract specialists to the IT sector.
The next part of the media tour was held at the Ministry of Digital Technologies. Representatives of the Ministry presented information on reforms implemented within the digital government system, the current status of electronic public services, pilot projects related to artificial intelligence technologies, and key indicators of sectoral development in 2025.
Information was also provided on priority areas for further development, including information technology infrastructure, data center capacity, cybersecurity, and human resource development.
A separate presentation was delivered on the activities of IT Park Uzbekistan, including data on resident companies, export indicators, startup support mechanisms, opportunities for young specialists and entrepreneurs, and projects implemented in cooperation with international partners.
In addition, information was presented on the activities of Uzinfocom related to the development and maintenance of state information systems, integration platforms, electronic government infrastructure, and national digital solutions.
The event enabled media representatives to obtain information on legislative initiatives and ongoing activities in the field of digital transformation.
