Ministry of Digital Technologies Presents Departmental Awards on Defenders of the Fatherland Day

A ceremonial event marking Defenders of the Fatherland Day was held at the Ministry of Digital Technologies on January 14. The event was attended by Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, who extended his congratulations to military personnel and representatives of the sector on the occasion.
In his address, the Minister underscored the exceptional contribution of those serving in the defense of the country and noted that the digital technology sector also plays a significant role in maintaining national security, stability, and public order by ensuring the resilience of communications and digital infrastructure.
As part of the ceremony, a group of distinguished employees of the Special Disaster Recovery Department under the Ministry of Defense were honored in connection with the 34th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Defenders of the Fatherland Day.
Departmental distinctions, including the Proficient Communicator badge, the Master of His Profession badge, and the Honorary Badge, were formally awarded to personnel recognized for their dedicated service and active contribution to maintaining reliable communication systems and digital infrastructure across the country.
