Discussion on Further Expansion of Cooperation Projects with World Bank's Digital Global Practice Development Director

At the meeting, issues related to continuing cooperation and implementing future joint projects were discussed. It was noted that the launch of the Digital Inclusion project would be an important step in the continuation of future cooperation projects with the World Bank.
During the meeting, information was also provided on the reforms and conditions for IT companies implemented by the Head of state in the field of digital technologies in our country. Special attention was paid to the possibilities of the system of special tax incentives introduced in the territory of the IT Park.
In this regard, proposals were discussed for using the World Bank's opportunities to attract large foreign companies in the IT sector to Uzbekistan and increase the volume of exports of IT services.
It was noted that great attention is currently being paid to introducing IT into all sectors of our country.
The World Bank's Director of Digital Global Practices highly appreciated the progress of digital transformation processes in Uzbekistan.
As noted, increasing the employment of young people by involving them in the field of ICT, creating high-paying jobs is one of the priority tasks of the ministry.
Taking into account the above, the possibility of further expanding projects aimed at creating more jobs in the ITES (information technology-based services) market was also discussed at the meeting.
