Launch of Digital Inclusion Project in Uzbekistan

First of all, the guests got acquainted with the activities of Uzinfocom. The work and projects of the single integrator were presented, as well as information about the work in the field of artificial intelligence.
The meeting began with a video presentation about Uzbekistan's favorable business environment, the opportunities it provides for the IT sector, and the available tax benefits that make the country an attractive place to invest in information technology.
During the meeting, it was highlighted that great attention is given to covering all sectors with IT in our country. The guests presented the work planned to be carried out within the framework of the digital inclusion project at this meeting.
In turn, with the support of World Bank funding, the Digital Inclusion Project has been launched in Uzbekistan to create digital jobs through digital inclusion, develop infrastructure in regions, and stimulate digital exports.
For reference: training of more than 6 thousand young people within the project, creation of more than 25 thousand new jobs, construction and reconstruction of ITES (services based on information technologies), more than 200 foreign and domestic ITES (services based on information technologies) companies and other similar areas are planned.
This was followed by an event titled "Navigating the Future of Digital Transformation" at Inha University in Tashkent.
Christine Qiang gave a lecture to the students of Inha University, Amity, TATU and other IT universities in Tashkent. She also shared her views on the future of digital transformation, and held a discussion and “question-and-answer” session with higher education students.
