Uzbekistan to Expand Cooperation with FUJIFILM System Services in IT and Digital Education

During a visit to Japan, Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov held talks with Amane Inoue, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FUJIFILM System Services, to discuss the expansion of bilateral cooperation in information technologies and digital education.
The meeting focused on potential areas of partnership, including the possible opening of a local office of FUJIFILM System Services in Uzbekistan, the engagement of local IT specialists, and the effective use of their professional capacity. The parties also exchanged views on initiatives to improve employment pathways for students and graduates in the IT sector.
Special attention was given to attracting Japanese-speaking IT professionals to work in Uzbekistan and ensuring the necessary support for their activities under local conditions, which was identified as a key factor for the company’s successful expansion in the country.
In addition, the sides discussed in detail the establishment of an export-oriented office in Uzbekistan. It was noted that FUJIFILM System Services would be provided with comprehensive support, including assistance with infrastructure, access to the reserve of human resources, regulatory facilitation, and administrative coordination.
