Minister of Digital Technologies Meets with 4iG Leadership: Data Centers, Telecommunications, and Outsourcing Projects Discussed

Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov held talks with Gillert Yaszai, head of 4iG, a major Hungarian developer of telecommunications and IT solutions.
The meeting focused on prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Hungary in the digital economy, IT outsourcing, telecommunications infrastructure, and the development of data centers.
Both sides underlined the significance of the upcoming “Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference” in Budapest, noting its role as an important platform for presenting Uzbekistan’s IT sector to the European business community.
Discussions also covered the construction of data centers, the creation of infrastructure powered by green energy, personnel training, and applicable tax incentives.
Representatives of 4iG highlighted Uzbekistan’s favorable investment climate, the effective use of surplus energy resources, and the strategic role of data centers in advancing artificial intelligence technologies.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to expand cooperation, implement joint initiatives, and encourage the engagement of European companies in Uzbekistan’s IT ecosystem.
