The international exhibitions Heimtextil Uzbekistan, Texworld Tashkent, and Apparel Sourcing Tashkent, held at the Uzexpocentre Exhibition Complex in Tashkent, are continuing in full swing.
Nozimjon Khosimovich, Director of the Light Industry Development Agency, took a close look at the exhibition activities, paying particular attention to the export potential of local manufacturers, the range of products on display, and opportunities for international cooperation.
The exhibition programme currently features panel sessions with international experts, industry presentations, B2B meetings between entrepreneurs and foreign partners, and G2B meetings with representatives of government institutions.
Discussions are prioritizing the expansion of export destinations, the establishment of direct partnerships with international brands, the introduction of advanced manufacturing technologies, compliance with international standards, and strengthening the participation of local enterprises in global value chains.
Bringing together 200 companies from 6 countries, this prestigious international platform is helping enhance the investment attractiveness of Uzbekistan’s light industry, promote national products more widely in global markets, and lay a solid foundation for new export contracts.
The Agency continues its systematic efforts to accelerate the integration of local manufacturers into international markets, create new trade opportunities for businesses, and promote exports of high-value-added products.
The exhibitions will run until October 14.
