Agency For The Development Of Light Industry Under The Cabinet Of Ministers Of The Republic Of Uzbekistan

On October 3, a meeting was held between Nozimjon Qosimovich, Director of the Light Industry Development Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, members of the Public Council for the Light Industry Sector, and representatives of garment manufacturing enterprises.

More than 100 representatives of business entities participated in the meeting, which was organized in an open and constructive dialogue format. The participants discussed in detail the challenges faced by entrepreneurs in their operations, existing issues in production and export processes, as well as proposals and initiatives aimed at further developing the sector.

During the dialogue, entrepreneurs’ appeals and concerns were heard directly. Tasks were identified to address the issues raised systematically, develop practical solutions in cooperation with relevant organizations, and consider the proposals within the framework of the Public Council.

As emphasized, maintaining direct and open dialogue with entrepreneurs, studying their problems on the ground, and finding practical solutions is one of the key areas of the Agency’s activities.

At the same time, it is planned to continue such meetings on a regular basis, with upcoming dialogues to be organized with representatives of yarn-spinning enterprises and textile clusters.

The opinions and proposals of entrepreneurs are of great importance in ensuring the sustainable development of the light industry, increasing the sector’s competitiveness, and creating new opportunities.
