Efforts to Reduce Poverty and Ensure Employment in Uychi District Reviewed

During his working visit to Namangan region, Nozimjon Kholmurodov, Director of the Agency for the Development of Light Industry under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, familiarized himself with the work being carried out in Uychi district to reduce poverty, ensure employment and increase household incomes.
As part of the working visit, he visited the homes of socially vulnerable and low-income families in the Keskandiyor, Do‘stlik and Ittifoq mahallas, where their living conditions, existing challenges, as well as opportunities to expand employment and sources of income were examined.
During the meetings, taking into account the capabilities and needs of each family, relevant recommendations were provided on ensuring sustainable sources of income, addressing existing challenges step by step, and supporting families in entrepreneurship and vocational training.
In addition, tasks were set to strengthen practical measures aimed at addressing the identified issues in cooperation with responsible organizations, ensuring employment for families and improving their well-being.
