The Activities of Light Industry Enterprises in Namangan Region Were Reviewed

Director of the Light Industry Development Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nozimjon Kholmurodov visited light industry enterprises in Namangan Region during his working visit to the region.
During the visit, the production processes, efficiency of existing capacities, range of manufactured products, and prospects for further development of enterprises operating in Namangan city, Turakurgan and Chust districts were studied.
In particular, the production activities of “Aisha Home Textile”, “Art soft teks”, “Nafis Charm”, “Grand Charm Poyabzallari”, “Runam Textil” and “Chust Textil” were reviewed. Discussions were held with the heads of the enterprises regarding existing issues and possible solutions.
The activities of the headquarters established in Davlatabad and Turakurgan districts to reduce poverty and increase household incomes were also reviewed.
Particular attention during the visit was paid to increasing the production and export potential of light industry enterprises in the region, creating new jobs, making effective use of existing opportunities, and supporting entrepreneurs.
The development of light industry in the regions is an important factor in creating new production facilities and jobs, as well as increasing the well-being of the population.
