Agency For The Development Of Light Industry Under The Cabinet Of Ministers Of The Republic Of Uzbekistan

On August 11 of this year, as part of the working visit of Nozimjon Kholmurodov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Light Industry under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to Tashkent Region, the activities of the region’s enterprises, including “COMPACT TEXTILES YARN” LLC, “ORZU-TEKS” LLC, and “HILALE TEXTILES” LLC, were closely reviewed.

During the visit, the delegation familiarized itself with the enterprises’ production processes organized using modern technologies, export potential, product range, and existing production infrastructure. The efficiency of production processes, the utilization of existing capacities, and opportunities for increasing production were also examined.

In addition, discussions with the heads of the enterprises focused on increasing production volumes, expanding the product range and export geography, implementing new investment projects, and modernizing existing production capacities. The parties also exchanged views on issues related to raw material supplies, financing, logistics, and access to domestic and international markets.

The enterprises’ prospects for further development were also discussed, including opportunities to increase the production of export-oriented and high-value-added products, widely introduce modern technologies into production processes, and create new jobs.

At the conclusion of the visit, existing challenges faced by the enterprises and proposals for addressing them were thoroughly discussed. Relevant tasks were identified to systematically resolve the issues identified, improve production efficiency, make full use of existing capacities, and further expand export performance.
