On 11 July 2026, the Director of the Light Industry Development Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Nozimjon Kholmurodov, visited the Lenta enterprise located in Mogilev, the Republic of Belarus.
During the visit, the delegation became acquainted with the company's manufacturing processes, modern production technologies, product portfolio, and export activities. The parties also reviewed the enterprise's experience in improving production efficiency and implementing advanced technologies.
Established in 1960, Lenta is one of Belarus's leading manufacturers of woven tapes and specialized textile products. The company produces a wide range of products for the defense industry, healthcare, light industry, and home textiles, supplying both the domestic market and international customers.
During the negotiations, the parties exchanged views on strengthening industrial cooperation between the textile enterprises of Uzbekistan and Belarus, expanding the supply of raw materials and finished products, launching joint manufacturing projects, and increasing bilateral trade between the two countries.
