On June 18, 2026, a meeting was held at the Light Industry Development Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan with Ahmad Abdullah Al Emadi, CEO of Qatar’s MS BARER Textile LLC.
During the meeting, information was provided on the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan’s light and textile industries, current sector development trends, measures to further improve the investment climate, and efforts aimed at expanding export potential.
The discussions focused on textile production, the introduction of modern technologies, improving product competitiveness, and developing bilateral industrial cooperation.
The parties also exchanged views on expanding cooperation with Uzbek enterprises, implementing joint investment projects, developing trade in raw materials and finished products, and exploring opportunities to enter international markets.
